AI had more versatility with the customization so extra keys weren't really necessary there either. yep, that's correct :) only mages really had to use more than the 6 slots. and a lot of the leveling up for mages in origins involved investing in skills you don't need so that you can get to the ones you want (like getting fireball for example)
